Women's Golf Completes Final Round At Roar-EE Invitational

SUFFERN, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team shed 13 strokes from their first round total on the final day of the Roar-EE Invitational hosted by Columbia University at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y. The Bobcats combined to shoot a 363, a day after shooting a 376, on their way to a 739 (+163) for 14th place.
Kayla Ketcheson (St. Andrew, Manitoba) shot the low round for the second straight day, carding an 88 (+16). Ketcheson finished tied for 57th with a 177. Amanda Nagel (Greenwood, Minn.) was a shot behind her teammate at 89 (+89) as she finished tied for 67th with a 182. Nicole Ferretti (Red Bank, N.J.) shot four strokes better on the second day, finishing in 71st place with a 188 (96-92). Jennifer Forlenza (Wayne, N.J.) also improved by four strokes to tally a 192 (98-94).
Harvard won the event at +24, while host Columbia was second at +30. St. John's finished third at +49, followed by Seton Hall at +53 and Rutgers at +60. Dartmouth and Fairleigh Dickinson tied for sixth at +62, followed by Long Island (+65), Lehigh (+72), Hofstra (+78), Boston University (+97), Wagner (+116), Albany (+136) and Quinnipiac (+163).
Quinnipiac is back in action on April 16-17 when it competes in the Hartford Invitational, hosted by the University of Hartford, at Rockledge Golf Course in West Hartford, Conn.
