SUFFERN, N.Y. – Kayla Ketcheson (St. Andrews, Manitoba) led the way for the Bobcats on Friday afternoon as the Quinnipiac University women's golf team competed in the seventh annual Roar-ee Invitational at the Spook Rock Golf Course. The event, hosted by Columbia University, witnessed rainy conditions all morning, sometimes extremely heavy, but 18 holes were able to be played in Suffern, N.Y.
Ketcheson was the Bobcats' top finisher with an 86 on the day, which was good enough for 16th place within the field. Jenn Whaley (Farmington, Conn.) neared Ketcheson's mark with an 87 (tied for 23rd), while Taylor Lambrou (Baldwin, N.Y.) and Kristina Unger (New York, N.Y.) posted scores of 90 and 91, respectively, to complete the team's total of 354.
Boston University claimed the team title, shooting a combined score of 338. The score was two strokes better than second-place Siena and three ahead of Central Connecticut State and Columbia. LIU Brooklyn (342) and Pennsylvania University (342) tied for fifth and were followed by Dartmouth (345), QU, Hofstra (368) and Wagner (385) to round out the top 10.

The Bobcats return to action, Sunday, April 14, with opening day of the Brown Invitational. The two-day event will take place at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, R.I. The event will begin at 10 a.m.
