Paul Nemetz-Carlson Named Women's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Director of Athletics and Recreation Jack McDonald has announced that Paul Nemetz-Carlson has been named assistant coach of the women’s ice hockey team. Nemetz-Carlson returns to Quinnipiac, where he served as an assistant coach during the team’s inaugural 2001-02 season. Nemetz-Carlson joins the Bobcats coaching staff after previously serving as an assistant coach for Yale from 2008 to 2011.

Women's Ice Hockey Announces 2011-12 Schedule
HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey head coach Rick Seeley has announced the Bobcats' 2011-12 schedule. In addition to the Bobcats' ECAC Hockey slate, Quinnipiac will also play Maine for its home opener on Oct. 7-8, as well as 2011 NCAA Tournament participants Mercyhurst and Boston College. Quinnipiac will also host Syracuse at home on Jan. 27-28.

Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey's Kelly Babstock Named Rookie Of The Year & Most Valuable Player At Annual Banquet
Freshman forward Kelly Babstock (Mississauga, Ontario) was named both the Quinnipiac women's ice hockey Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player at the team's annual end-of-the-year banquet on Sunday afternoon at the TD Bank Sports Center. Junior defender Bethany Dymarczyk (Hamden, Conn.) was named the team's most Outstanding Defensive Player and senior Kelley Davies (Chesapeake, Va.) received the Coaches Award. Junior defender Melissa Perry (Chelsea, Mich.) was named the team's Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Babstock is the first player in Quinnipiac women's ice hockey program history to receive the award. The acceptance of the league's most prized individual award comes on the heels of being named Rookie of the Year, as well as being named to All-League First-Team and the All-Rookie Team.

Women's Ice Hockey Set To Play Exhibition Game Against Ontario Hockey Academy
The Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey team will kick off the season with a competitive scrimmage against the Ontario #$%^Hockey Academy Mustangs at the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, on Friday Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. The game will be open to #$%^the #$%^public. Admission is free of charge.

The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team welcomes 11 freshman skaters to its roster for the 2010-11 season. Forwards Kelly #$%^Babstock (Mississauga, Ontario), Erica Uden Johansson (Sundsvall, Sweden), Amanda Colin (Burnsville, Minn.), Lindsay #$%^Burman (Stanchfield, Minn.), Elena Orlando (Winters, Calif.), Megan Hagg (Ajax, Ontario), Emily MacKinnon (Kirkland, Quebec) #$%^and Olivia Brackett (Coopersville, Mich.) look to contribute to the Bobcats offense this season. Defenders Kara Gust (Orlando #$%^Park, Ill.), Shelby Wignall( Hamilton, Ontario) and Kelly Lavallee (Salem, N.H.) will help Quinnipiac in the back.

Women's Ice Hockey Selected To Finish Fourth In ECAC Hockey Preseason Coaches Poll
The Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey team was selected to finish fourth in the 2010-11 ECAC Hockey Preseason #$%^Coaches' Poll. The Bobcats collected 79 points in the poll after posting a 19-10-8 overall record (11-4-7 ECAC Hockey) last #$%^season. Sophomore goaltender Victoria Vigilanti (Woodbridge, Ontario) was also honored with a Preseason All-League #$%^selection. After advancing to the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals and earning the program's first-ever postseason victory last year, #$%^the Bobcats have increased expectations under third-year Head Coach Rick Seeley.

Women's Ice Hockey Visits Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital Auxiliary's Toy Closet
Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rick Seeley, as well as juniors Bethany Dymarczyk (Hamden, Conn.) and Jordan Elkins (Wasilla, Alaska) visited Yale-New Haven Hospital Auxiliary's Toy Closet on Monday, Aug. 23. The Bobcats donated $1,000 and over $700 in toys that they collected on Aug. 7-8 at the Stop & Shop in Hamden, Conn.

Quinnipiac women's ice hockey junior Bethany Dymarczyk (Hamden, Conn.) and sophomore Regan Boulton (Brandon, Manitoba) were on-hand at the Stop & Shop in Hamden, Conn. collecting toys and accepting donations for the Yale-New Haven Hospital Toy Closet. The two student-athletes arrived at 9 a.m. and will be at the location until 3 p.m. on Satuday, Aug. 7. They will also be at Stop & Shop on Sunday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rick Seeley Signs Contract Extension Through 2014-15
Quinnipiac University Director of Athletics and Recreation Jack McDonald has announced that Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rick Seeley has signed a contract extension through the 2014-15 season. Terms of the contract have not been disclosed. In his second season at Quinnipiac, Seeley's was honored with the ECAC Hockey and New England Hockey Writers New England Division I Coach of the Year awards.

Women's Ice Hockey Announces 2010-11 Schedule - Video
Quinnipiac University Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rick Seeley has announced the Bobcats' 2010-11 schedule. The #$%^Bobcats non-conference home schedule includes the University of New Hampshire, who was one of the eight NCAA #$%^Tournament Quarterfinalists from last season, Northeastern, Sacred Heart and Boston College. Quinnipiac travels to Niagara, #$%^Maine and Wayne State. The Bobcats will also host the annual Nutmeg Classic, featuring Sacred Heart, Yale and Connecticut.
