Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey Freshman Kelly Babstock Featured On Mississauga.com

Quinnipiac freshman Kelly Babstock has been highlighted several times over the last month by her hometown newspaper's website, www.Mississauga.com. The first-year skater currently leads all NCAA Division I women's ice hockey players with 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points in her first 20 collegiate games. Babstock is currently re-writing the Quinnipiac record books, and has been collecting honors on a weekly basis.

Quinnipiac recently won the 2010 Nutmeg Classic with a 3-1 win against Elm City rival Yale on Saturday, Dec. 4. The Bobcats are back in action on Monday, Jan. 3 when they travel to Princeton for a 1 p.m. ECAC Hockey match-up. They then head to the North Country to face St. Lawrence on Friday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. and Clarkson on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
