Bobcats Ranked No.10 In USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team (16-8-1, 8-6-0 ECAC Hockey) has been recognized with a No. 10-ranking for the second consecutive week in the January 25, 2011 USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll. The Bobcats, who also retained the No. 10 spot in yesterday's January 24, 2011 USCHO.com Division I Women's Poll, have now received votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Poll for five consecutive weeks.

Quinnipiac earned 14 points in this week's poll, the second most points it has received in either national poll during the 2010-11 season. Overall, the Bobcats have received votes in nine of the 15 weekly USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Polls thus far during the 2010-11 campaign.

No.10 Quinnipiac prepares to host ECAC Hockey opponents Clarkson and St. Lawrence this weekend at the TD Bank Sports Center. The Bobcats will play Clarkson on Friday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. and St. Lawrence on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 4 p.m.
