HAMDEN, Conn. – Due to inclement weather, the Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team has postponed their Senior Day game against Colgate to 2 pm on Sunday Feb. 10 at the High Point Solutions Arena. The last regular season home game for the Bobcats was originally supposed to be played Saturday at 7 pm but was postponed due to the massive snow storm that hit the Conn. area last night.
The Bobcats scored one of their biggest wins in program history on Friday as they took down No. 4 nationally ranked Cornell, 4-1. It was their first win over the Big Red since Nov. 18, 2006 and their second win over at Top-5 nationally ranked school in program history. Quinnipiac will honor six seniors tomorrow including Breann Frykas, Felica Vieweg, Kristen Eklund, Brittany Lyons, Regan Boulton and Victoria Vigilanti as they will all be playing in their final regular season home game.
Quinnipiac fans should continue to refer to the official website of Quinnipiac Athletics, www.QuinnipiacBobcats.com, for any future updates as far as schedule changes.
