Before Quinnipiac: Graduated from the Paris District High School in 2013 after a stellar athletic career in which she participated in various sports including varsity hockey, volleyball, junior basketball, soccer, tennis, track and field, badminton and baseball…Won three BICSSA championships (badminton, tennis, baseball) and one CWOSSA championship (tennis)…Competed at OFSAA for hockey and tennis…Won the coaches award for badminton…Three-time MVP for hockey and two-time team captain at Paris District…Named Senior Female Athlete of the Year…Graduated as a honor roll student…Received The Phyllis Gretzky Memorial Award for Female Youth Leadership 2011 from the Brantford Sports Council Sports Recognition Awards…Played for the 2012-13 Cambridge Rivulettes women’s junior hockey team…Named team captain for Cambridge and finished with 25 points (10 goals, 14 assists) in 35 games throughout the 2012-13 regular season…For the 2013 PWHL Playoffs with Cambridge, Woods  finished with the team-leading assist total (seven) through 10 playoff games and helped her team advance to the Second Round of the PWHL Playoffs…She also played alongside freshman teammate Emma Greco with Team Ontario Red at the 2012 Canadian National Women’s U-18 Championship in Dawson Creek, B.C. and represented Ontario as a member of Team Ontario Blue at the 2011 event in Saugenay, Quebec.

Personal: Born in London, Ontario and raised in Burford, Ontario…Daughter of Robert and Nancy Woods…Has one older sister Rebecca and two brothers including a twin Calvin and younger brother Hayden…She was the first girl to play rep hockey in her hometown of Burford, Ontario…Plans to major in Health Science.
