About Bryant
Bryant is currently riding a four-game winning streak after posting back-to-back wins against NEC opponents, Robert Morris (13-7) and Saint Francis University (10-4). Junior Lisa Vendel leads the Bulldogs offense in scoring with 20 goals and five assists so far this year. Junior Kimberly Sniffen is also having a great season with 18 goals through eight games, while three others have scored 10 or more goals this year. In their last meeting against the Red Flash, Vendel scored her third hat trick of the week and fifth of the season. The Bulldogs (5-3, 2-0 NEC) saw six different goal scorers and got a game-best four points from junior Haley Bloom off a goal and three assists.

All-Time Against The Bulldogs
Thursday's game will mark the fifth meeting between the two programs, with each team winning twice in the all-time series. In their last meeting on April 22, 2012, the Bulldogs came away with an 8-6 victory over the Bobcats in Hamden.

About Central Connecticut
The Blue Devils are 4-5 overall and 2-0 in league play, currently riding a three-game winning streak. The Blue Devils will face the Pioneers of Sacred Heart prior on Thursday. Leading Central's offense is senior Betsy Vendel, who has totaled 18 goals and 12 assists in nine outings this year. The senior also has 19 draw controls and 10 caused turnovers on the season. In its last game against Manhattan, CCSU came out on top with a 17-6 victory. Vendel led the Blue Devils with seven points, three goals and four assists. Amanda Toke and Mackenzy Ryan joined Vendel with hat-tricks on the day. Vendel also led the team with four draw controls and right behind her were Amanda Toke and Mackenzy Ryan who each recorded three.

All-Time Against The Blue Devils
Saturday afternoon will mark the 14th meeting between the two programs as Quinnipiac holds a perfect 13-0 record against the Blue Devils.  In their outing last season, the Bobcats came away with a 14-11 win on April 20, 2012.

Last Time Out
The Bobcats were paced by senior Sarah Allen who pumped in three goals for her second career hat trick and first since March 21, 2010. However, the Bobcats dropped their Northeast Conference opener to Sacred Heart for the first time since 2008. Allen was a key cog in the Bobcat offense all afternoon as she also assisted on two other goals to give her five points in the game, her most in any game this season. Sophomore Kyra Ochwat was the only other multi-point scorer for the Bobcats as she recorded two points (one goal, one assist). The Pioneer defense was strong all afternoon as the Bobcats managed 25 shots but just eight goals including only three in the second half.

Stick It To Cancer Weekend
The women's lacrosse team has designated the weekend of April 5-7, 2013 as their 'Stick It To Cancer Weekend'. The team is participating in the Coaches vs. Cancer program to raise awareness and funding for the American Cancer Society through Quinnipiac's Positive Play program. The Bobcats have been collecting donations during playoff games at the TD Bank Center and donors have completed donor cards that will be used to form a "Wall of Hope" that will be displayed at the Bobcats' games against Long Island (April 5) and Wagner (April 7). Donations are also being collected online and at the entrance to the field on game days. Each player will be playing for a loved one affected by cancer during the Stick It To Cancer weekend.

Welcome to the Party
Two Bobcats picked up their first goals of the season against Fairfield on March 12. Freshman defender Dom Compito recorded her first career goal and point in just her second career game, while junior Phoebe LaPlante recorded career highs in goals and points by tallying two goals and an assist. She also picked up a draw control in the game.

Dynamic Duo
Sophomore Kyra Ochwat and junior Michaela Tinsley have filled the void left by Marissa Caroleo and Devon Gibney. Ochwat has played in six of the Bobcats eight games this year and has averaged three goals per game for a total of 17 goals and three assists. Tinsley on the other hand, has played in all eight games and has 15 goals and an assist for a total of 16 points. Of the eight games, the junior has had three goals in four of the matches.
