A Q&A With Sophomore Forward Jessica Jankowski As She Travels Through Europe
Sophomore forward Jessica Jankowski (Berkley Heights, N.J.) of the Quinnipiac women’s soccer team is currently spending the semester studying all throughout Europe. Jankowski has been to places such as Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Jankowski even visited Camp Nou, the home stadium of FC Barcelona. Jankowski took the time for a Q&A discussing how her trip has been so far.

Quinnipiac battled Monmouth to a 0-0 draw on Senior Day at the QU Soccer Field. With the draw Quinnipiac earned the No. 7 seed in the upcoming MAAC Tournament and will face off against the Manhattan Jaspers in the opening round.

Jessica Fontaine's First Half Tally Pushes Quinnipiac Past Manhattan, 1-0
HAMDEN, Conn.– Freshman forward Jessica Fontaine (Enfield,Conn.) scored her third career goal on Wednesday afternoon, as the Quinnipiac Bobcats defeated the Manhattan Jaspers at the QU Soccer Field. Sophomore goalie Natalia Grodzki (Bartlett, Ill.) made five saves on her way to a clean sheet. Grodzki now has 5.5 shutouts in her career.

Despite the first goal of Jess Lavoie's (Berlin, Conn.) career, the Quinnipiac Bobcats fell to the Canisius Golden Griffins on Saturday night in Buffalo. Brittany Krause and Kathleen Lawver scored for Canisius in their 2-1 win. The Bobcats fall to 2-7-4 and 2-3-2 in the MAAC while Canisius moves to 4-13-1 and 2-7 in the MAAC.

Women's Soccer Defeated by Marist, 3-0
Marist’s top three leading scorers Alycia Cartia, Rycke Guiney, and Samantha Panzner scored a goal each for Marist in their 3-0 win over Quinnipiac in the MAAC matchup on Wednesday night. Quinnipiac suffers their second loss in MAAC play and they move to 2-2-3 in conference play and 2-6-4 overall. Marist moves to 6-2 in conference play and 8-7 overall.

Women's Soccer Plays Niagara to 1-1 Draw Through Double Overtime
The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team picked up their ninth point in MAAC play after a 1-1 draw against the Niagara Purple Eagles on Saturday at the QU Soccer Field. Senior midfielder Aine McKeever (Derry City, Northern Ireland) scored the only goal of the game for Quinnipiac off a penalty kick in the 34th minute.

Women's Soccer Participates In CIAC Unified Soccer Tournament
The Quinnipiac University Women's Soccer team volunteered at the CIAC Unified Soccer Tournament on Tuesday at Quinnipiac Park in Cheshire. Members of the team reffed, kept the clock, and taught middle schoolers the game of soccer at each field. The team’s participation in the CIAC Unified Soccer Tournament is now an annual tradition for the program.

The Quinnipiac University women’s soccer team travels to New Rochelle, NY on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 PM. The matchup is a battle between the undefeated Bobcats (2-0-2 MAAC) and undefeated Gaels (2-0-1 MAAC). Iona was projected to finish seven in the MAAC this season while the Bobcats were projected to finish 8th. Quinnipiac currently sits in second in the MAAC trailing top seeded Monmmouth by one point while Iona is tied for third trailing Monmouth by two points.

Fairfield, Conn.– Sophomore Natalia Grodzki (Bartlett, Ill.) showed why she was recently voted MAAC Defensive Player of the Week and Quinnipiac Women’s Athlete of the Month for September. Grodzki recorded her third and a half shutout on Wednesday evening as the Quinnipiac University women's soccer team battled Fairfield to a 0-0 draw through double overtime at Lessing Field in Fairfield, Conn.

Natalia Grodzki Named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
EDISON, N.J. – After two stellar performances last week, sophomore Natalia Grodzki (Bartlett, Ill.) has been named the MAAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, announced Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 by the league's office. Grodzki was instrumental in net for the Bobcats, which included a week that saw the Bobcats go 1-0-1 to put them on top of the MAAC table.

Late Surge Sends Women’s Soccer Past Rider, 2-0
A pair of late second half goals proved to be the difference on Saturday afternoon, as the Quinnipiac University women’s soccer team garnered its second conference win with a 2-0 decision over Rider at the QU Soccer Field. Junior Caitlyn Shaw (North Haven, Conn.) and senior Beck Kiting (Canberra, Australia) each picked up their first goals of the season in the winning effort.

Women's Soccer Plays Siena to 1-1 Draw in First MAAC Home Game
Hamden, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team picked up their fourth point in MAAC conference play after a 1-1 draw against the Siena Saints on Wednesday at the QU Soccer Field. The tie came in the first ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) home game for the Bobcats. Sophomore goalkeeper Natalia Grodzki (Bartlett, Ill.) made seven saves on the day including stopping a penalty kick from defending MAAC Player of the Week Brittany Pfaff. Senior midfielder Aine McKeever (Derry City, Northern Ireland) scored the only goal of the game for Quinnipiac in the 84th minute.

Jessica Fontaine Named MAAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Edison, N.J. – After a game in which she had four points freshman Jessica Fontaine (Enfield, Conn.) has been named the MAAC Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week, announced Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 by the league's office. Fontaine was a key contributor in the Bobcats first win as a member of the MAAC. Fontaine finished the day on Saturday with a goal and two assists as the Bobcats opened conference play with a 3-0 win over Saint Peter’s.

The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team host their first conference game as a member of the MAAC on Wednesday, Sept. 25 when the Siena Saints make a trip to Hamden. With a win over Saint Peter’s last Saturday the women’s soccer team picked up the first MAAC win in any sport for Quinnipiac. The Bobcats women’s soccer team was the first Quinnipiac team to win a game at the Division I level in 1998.

The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday after defeating the Saint Peter’s Peacocks 3-0. The win came is the Bobcats first-ever conference game as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

Women's Soccer to Play Inaugural MAAC Game at Saint Peter's Saturday, Sept. 21 at 1 PM
The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team has their first conference game as a member of the MAAC on Saturday, Sept. 21 when they head to Jersey City, N.J. to take on Saint Peter's. As members of the Northeast Conference they went 72-50-18 in conference play and 126-117-26 overall. They appeared in the four-team NEC tournament six times, the NEC Final two times, won a regular season championship in 2001, and an NEC Title and trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2000. The 2000 team was the first Quinnipiac team in any sport to make the Division 1 NCAA tournament.

The Quinnipiac University women's soccer team suffered its third one-goal loss of the season on Friday afternoon, as the Bobcats fell short to America East foe, University of Vermont, at Virtue Field in Burlington, VT. With the loss, Quinnipiac falls to 0-4-1 on the young season while the Catamounts picked up their second win of the 2013 campaign (2-3).

Women's Soccer Stunned in Final Seconds; St. Joseph's Tops Quinnipiac, 3-2
The Quinnipiac University women’s soccer went down in heartbreaking fashion on Sunday afternoon, as a late goal from the defending Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year Mo Hawkins sent the St. Joseph’s Hawks to a 3-2 victory at the QU Soccer Field on Mount Carmel Campus. Despite a pair of goals from Quinnipiac senior Aine McKeever (Derry City, Ireland), SJU erased a 2-0 deficit with three unanswered goals, which included the game-winning marker with just 4.3 seconds left in regulation.

With the loss the Bobcats fall to 0-1 on the season while the Hoyas improve to 2-0 after an overtime win over William and Mary on Friday.

The Bobcats, who have advanced to postseason play in three of their last five seasons, will look to turn some heads in their first season in the MAAC.

Sophomore defender Nicole Eriksen (Stamford, Conn.) was named to the 2013 College Sports Madness MAAC Women's Soccer Preseason All-Conference First Team, announced on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 by members of the association. The list of athletes includes the top players in women's soccer for the upcoming campaign.

Laura Nicholas and Joanna Proctor Sign with Quinnipiac Women's Soccer
Quinnipiac University women’s soccer head coach Dave Clarke has announced that the Bobcats’ 2013 roster will consist of two more names in Laura Nicholas (Derry, Northern Ireland) and Joanna Proctor (Frimley, England). Nicholas and Proctor have signed National Letters of Intent and will look to make an immediate impact this coming season.
