Markison paired with Wilson to defeat Candynce Boney and Maude Lecluyse, 8-4, at No. 1 doubles before defeating Tanisha Hodgson, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 3 singles. Steinert's win came over Jocelyn Providence, 7-5, 7-5, at No. 6 singles.
The Minutewomen took the remaining two doubles flights to take the doubles point. Rachel Cantor (Short Hills, N.J.) and Sarah Viebrock (Carmel, N.Y.) fell to Julia Comas and Hodgson, 8-4, at No. 2, while Natalie Duckor (North Tustin, Calif.) and Shawna Sarson (Albany, N.Y.) were defeated by Kaitlyn Carpenter and Providence, 8-4, at No. 3.
Wilson was defeated by Comas, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 1 singles, while Cantor fell to Boney, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 2. Viebrock fell in three sets to Lecluyse, 6-7 (4), 6-3, 10-3, at No. 4, while Duckor was defeated by Carpenter, 6-2, 6-1.
