POINT, N.Y. - Quinnipiac University women's tennis freshman Juliet
Labarthe (Oklahoma City, Okla.) was defeated by Amherst's Gabby
Devlin, 7-5, 6-4, in the C Singles Finals as the Bobcats wrapped up
play at the West Point Eastern Tennis Invitational, Sunday at Army.
Senior Adrienne
Markison (Princeton, N.J.) was also in action Sunday, falling
in the Duty Singles Alpha Semifinals to Amherst's Laura Danzig,
8-4.
Juliet Labarthe Edged In C Singles Final At West Point Eastern Tennis Invitational
The Bobcats now take a 24-day hiatus, before returning to action Oct. 20 at UConn. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
