Conn. - Quinnipiac University freshman Juliet Labarthe (Oklahoma
City, Okla.) has been named the Northeast Conference Women's Tennis
Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, the league
office today announced. Labarthe posted an unblemished week, going
4-0 to improve her season record to 22-6.

Labarthe defeated Army's Annie Hang, 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-5), to take the Bobcats' lone point of the day on Friday. She also paired with Sarah Viebrock (Carmel, N.Y.) to defeat Hang and Erin Colton, 8-6, at No. 2 doubles.
In the Bobcats' 6-1 victory against Marist, Labarthe defeated Joana Sun, 7-5, 6-2, at No. 3 singles and paired with Viebrock to blank Erin McCarthy and Retta Byron, 8-0, at No. 2 doubles. The freshman has gone a remarkable 11-3 in both singles and doubles this season.
The Bobcats return to action Saturday, when they face Northern Iowa in West Point, N.Y. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
