fourth-straight year.
Cross Country: Ran at the Quinnipiac Invitational,
where she finished the 5k course in 18:29...Finished the
6,000-meter race in 21:31 at the Paul Short Invitational...Placed
sixth at the Northeast Conference Championships with a time of
18:35.
Indoor Track: Red-shirted the season.
As a Junior in 2008-09:
Cross Country: Red-shirted the season.
Indoor Track: Ran the one-mile run in 5:08 at
Boston University's Terrier Classic...Anchored the first place
Distance Medley Relay team at the Northeast Conference
Championships...Competed in the one-mile run at the New England
Championships at Boston University, with a time of 5:09.
Outdoor Track: Won the 3,000-meter run at the Yale
Invitational...Placed second at the Northeast Conference
Championships in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:32...Ran the
5,000-meter run in 17:32 at the New England Championships at UMass
Amherst.
As a Sophomore in
2007-08:
Cross Country:
2007 Northeast Conference Outstanding Performer for the
second straight year after back-to-back first place finishes at the
event...clocked in at 17:37.7 for first place...All Northeast
Conference selection...finished 2nd overall at the Ted
Owen Invitational with a time of 17:31...finished 3rd
overall with a time of 17:54 at the NEICCA's...won the Quinnipiac
Invitational for the second straight year with a time of
18:08.6...finished 10th at the Penn State Invitational
with a time of 21:26...finished in 44th place at the
NCAA Division I New England Regional Championships with a time of
21:51.76...Quinnipiac's top finisher in every race she ran this
year...was named NEC Athlete of the Week four times.
Indoor:
Ran a 9:57.91 in the 3000 meters at
the 2008 All-New England indoor Track Championship on
2/29...Finished with a time of 9:55 at the ECAC Championships in
the 3000 meters...Won the 3000 meters at the NEC Championships on
2/10 with a time of 17:28.12...Ran a 10:03.12 at the NEC
Championships in the 3000 meters
As a Freshman in 2006-07:
Cross Country:
Named All-New England on Oct. 7 for
placing 11th individually at the New England
Championships...honored as the NEC Most Outstanding Performer and
Rookie of the Year on Oct. 28 for winning the individual title at
the NEC Championships...garnered NEC Athlete of the Week and Rookie
of the Week honors on Sept. 26 and Oct. 10...in her Bobcat debut,
finished first overall in 18:23.9 to help the Bobcats win the
Quinnipiac Invitational on Sept. 22...placed 11th overall and was
the first freshman to cross the finish line in 17:54 as the Bobcats
set a program record for placing fifth at the New England
Championships on Oct. 7...finished fourth overall and first on the
team in 17:45.3 to help the Bobcats place fourth of 22 schools at
the UAlbany Invitational on Oct. 14...placed first overall in
18:14.9 to help lead the club to its second straight NEC
Championship on Oct. 28...finished 31st overall and first on the
team in 22:27.3 as the Bobcats set a program record for placing
ninth at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Nov. 11.
Indoor Track:
First freshman in school history to
be named All-East and did it in the 5000m and the DMR at the ECAC
Championships on Mar. 3-4...named All-New England on Feb. 23 in the
DMR and on Feb. 24 in the 3000m...garnered Rookie of the Meet
honors and All-NEC honors twice at the NEC Championships on Feb.
10-11...named the NEC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 12 and Jan.
16...won the 5000m (17:04.81) and became the first freshman ever to
qualify for the ECAC Championships at the Yale Season Opener on
Dec. 10...won the 3000m (10:01.85) and anchored the second-place
DMR (12:19.53) at the Yale Collegiate Track Classic on Jan.
13...qualified for the ECAC Championships and set a personal record
in the 3000m (9:53.36) at the Terrier Classic on Jan. 26...anchored
the fourth-place DMR (12:11.62) at the Terrier Invitational on Jan.
27...won the 3000m (10:03.12) at the NEC Championships on Feb.
10...won the 5000m (17:28.12) and the Bobcats set two school
records for their highest finish (fourth) and point total (62) at
the NEC Championships on Feb. 11...ran the anchor 1600m for the
sixth-place DMR that broke a school record (12:01.28) at the New
England Championships on Feb. 23...set a freshman school record in
the 3000m and placed eighth overall (9:50.22) at the New England
Championships on Feb. 24...set a freshman school record in the
5000m (17:00.72) and finished seventh at the ECAC Championships on
Mar. 3...ran the 1600m anchor leg for the seventh-place DMR that
broke a school record (12:00.62) at the ECAC Championships on Mar.

Before
Quinnipiac:
Finished fifth
individually in the state meet for cross country and was named
First Team All-State...high school cross country team placed ninth
in the nation twice...her high school team was also a two-time
state champion and set a state meet record pace of
19:08...outdoors, was a member of the national meet record-setting
4xmile relay team in 19:58...ran a leg on the 4x1600m state
record-setting relay team and the DMR and 4x800 relay teams that
set county and group records...finished second in the state meet in
the 3200m to be named Second Team All-State...voted First Team
Group IV, First Team All-Area, First Team All-County, and First
Team All-Conference in all three sports in which she received a
total of 12 letters...also named Most Improved Runner and was a
Scholar Athlete throughout high school...member of the National
Honor Society and French Honor Society...a High Honor Roll
student...recipient of the Renaissance Academic Achievement Award,
Presidential Award and Girl Scout Gold
Award.
