Women's Indoor Track Runs At BU's Terrier Invitational
BOSTON, Mass. - The Quinnipiac University women's indoor track
team ran at the Terrier Invitational at Boston University's Track
and Tennis Center in Boston, Mass. on Friday afternoon.
The Bobcats' Julie
Lanning (Victor, N.Y.) highlighted the meet with an
18
th-place finish in the 1,000-meter run. The junior
crossed the finish line with a time of 3:09.41. Lanning also ran in
the one-mile run, where she finished in 33
rd place in
5:16.61.
Hannah
Donadio (Killingworth, Conn.) finished the 800-meter run in
2:21.22, good for 24
th place. Also participating in the
run, was Quinnipiac's Alexandra
Seitz (Annandale, N.J.) who crossed the finish line in

th place with a time of 2:26.85. In addition, freshman
Brianna
Faust (Macungie, Pa.) finished the 3,000-meter run in
31
st place in 10:28
Becca
White (Natick, Mass.) was the first Bobcat to cross the finish
line in the 5,000-meter run. She placed 25
th with a time
of 17:45.66, while Amanda
Faust (Macungie, Pa.) finished in 38
th place,
crossing the line in 18:27.03.
"Overall, I thought the girls ran really well today," said
Quinnipiac Head Coach Carolyn
Martin. "We're starting to post some really nice times. We
should be recording faster times in the next couple of weeks and be
ready for the Northeast Conference Championships," said Martin.
The Bobcats return to action when they compete at Dartmouth College
in Hanover, N.H. on Saturday, February 5.
