Missed It By That Much
The Bobcats have won more sets than they've lost in their last three matches, but have come away with only one win. Delaware State (Nov. 1) and La Salle (Nov. 5) sandwiched 3-2 victories around a Bobcats sweep of Wagner (Nov. 1).
Scouting the Providence Friars
Two of the Friars' 14 wins have come against the Bobcats this season. Providence defeated Quinnipiac, 3-0, Sept. 6, at the Brown Invitational before the Bobcats managed to take a set against the Friars in the Oct. 4 Chicago State Invitational. Senior Elizabeth Flynn's 335 kills lead the Friars, while senior Kelly Krahenbuhl's 402 digs are a team best. Senior Sara Sheehan has run the offense efficiently with 817 assists, while senior Jeannette Toney has been effective at the net with 113 blocks.
Scouting the St. Francis (N.Y.) College Terriers
Detelina Dimitrova leads the Terriers with 157 kills so far this season, while Toni Rich's 283 assists are a team best. Liliana Rodriguez leads St. Francis in digs with 324 and Diana Colon has a team-high 26 blocks.
The Bobcats conclude regular-season action next weekend against a pair of Northeast Conference foes. Quinnipiac first faces Robert Morris on Saturday, before concluding the Western Pennsylvania trip against St. Francis (Pa.).
