In his third season Czaplinski continued to lay the foundation for the Quinnipiac volleyball program with 11 underclassmen including five freshmen. Czaplinski made sure that his team was not only working hard off the court, but in the class room as well. In 2014 Quinnipiac had seven players named the the MAAC All-Academic Team, tied for second most players in the conference. Quinnipiac continued it's strong outreach into the local community with countless hours dedicated to the Postive Play program as the volleyball program was once again one of the top teams in the athletic department to give back to the community.

In his second year with the Bobcats, Czaplinski continued to build a strong foundation for the future by developing a strong young group of Bobcats. Under his leadership, Quinnipiac had its first all-conference player with freshman Allison Leigh since 2004. The Bobcats also had an impressive six players named to the MAAC All-Academic team which highlights how Czaplinski holds his players to high academic standards. He also built a strong community service initiative within the women's volleyball program as his players and staff participated in various activities including volunteer coaching sessions in local area high schools and involvement with Quinnipiac's BIG EVENT.

Czaplinski comes to QU from Post University where he served as the Eagles’ Assistant Coach for the past two years. While with the volleyball program, he helped guide the Eagles to a fourth place finish last season in the North Division of the league. Czaplinski spearheaded recruiting operations, scheduling and prepared game tactics and strategies during his stint with the team.

In addition to Post, Czaplinski allocates much of his time to the Connecticut Sports Center in Woodbridge, Conn. Since 2003, he has been the Varsity Coach of the Junior Olympic Girls’ Volleyball program, a club consisting of student-athletes ranging from 16-18 years old. Czaplinski also organizes elite summer programs for athletes aspiring to play at the collegiate level.

A 2006 graduate of the University of New Haven with a degree in Business Administration, Czaplinski was also a member of the men's volleyball program with the Chargers.
