Women's Cross Country Ranked 12th In USTFCCCA Northeast Regional Poll For Second Consecutive Week

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac University women's cross country team was ranked 12th out of 15 teams in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Northeast Regional Poll, released on Monday, Sept. 20. The Bobcats are coming off a first-place finish at the annual Quinnipiac Invitational last weekend, where the Bobcats swept the top six spots at the meet. Quinnipiac was again the only Northeast Conference institution featured in the weekly poll.

Quinnipiac sophomore Rebecca White (Natick, Mass.) was the Invitational's top finisher with a time of 18:13. The Bobcats won the Invitational with a perfect score of 15 points.

The Bobcats will run at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa on Friday, Oct. 1. The women's race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
