Five Teams Recognized By NCAA For Strong APR Report Scores
Five Quinnipiac University athletic teams were recognized by the NCAA for strong Academic Progress Ratings (APR), as announced by members of the association on Friday, June 15, 2012. Women’s basketball once again represented the Bobcats for the fifth consecutive year, while women’s indoor track, women’s outdoor track, women’s cross country and women’s tennis, like last year, were also named to the list.

Quad News Features Women's Cross Country In Audio Slideshow
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team was recently featured in an audio slideshow on the website of the Quad News, a Quinnipiac student-run newspaper. The slideshow, which was created by sports editor John Hood, highlights the Bobcats’ run to their seventh consecutive Northeast Conference Championship.

Women's Cross Country Finish 20th At 2011 NCAA Northeast Regionals
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team placed 20th out of 36 teams at the 2011 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats received 631 points overall, while Syracuse won the regional meet with a combined 116 points. Junior Andrea Szarkowicz (Watertown, Conn.) paced Quinnipiac as she placed 109th with a time of 23:08.2.

Women's Cross Country Wins Unprecedented Seventh Consecutive NEC Title
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team won its seventh consecutive Northeast Conference Championship on Saturday morning at Holmdel Park in Holmdel, N.J. The Bobcats took first place, out of 12 teams, with a total of 44 points and were paced by senior Morgan Roche (Clifton Park, N.Y.), who finished in fifth place overall in 19:02.70.

Women's Cross Country Places Second Out Of Six Teams At CCSU Mini Meet
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team placed second out of six teams at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet on Friday afternoon. The Bobcats compiled 49 points for the second place finish, while Providence College won the 3k with 37 points overall. Quinnipiac’s five graduating seniors were honored after the meet.

White Leads Women's Cross Country To Ninth Place Finish At New England Championships
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team placed ninth in the varsity race and eighth in the sub varsity meet at the New England (NEICAAA) Championships on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Franklin Park in Boston Mass. Thirty-nine teams competed in the women’s varsity race, where Boston College won with 38 points, while Quinnipiac finished with a total of 279 points. Junior Becca White (Natick, Mass) paced the Bobcats with a ninth place finish in 18:04.

White Named NEC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Quinnipiac women’s cross country junior Becca White (Natick, Mass.) was named the Northeast Conference Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday, Oct. 4. The weekly accolade is White’s first NEC honor of the 2011 season.

Women's Cross Country Places 25th Out Of 45 Teams At Paul Short Run
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team placed 25th at the 38th Annual Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on Friday morning. The Bobcats competed against 45 collegiate teams in the Gold 6k Race and finished with a total of 743 points, while Providence College won the meet with 101 points. Junior Rebecca White (Natick, Mass.) paced Quinnipiac with a 55th-place finish in 21:35.

Women's Cross Country Wins Monmouth Invitational
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team won the 17th Annual Monmouth Invitational on Saturday morning. The Bobcats competed against a total of 16 teams and took the first-place finish with 43 points. Sophomore Becca White (Natick, Mass.) paced Quinnipiac on the 5k course as she placed fourth overall in 18:29.

Women's Cross Country Places Sixth Out Of 17 Teams At Fordham Fiasco
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team placed sixth out of 17 teams at the annual Fordham Fiasco on Saturday morning. The Bobcats finished with a total of 173 points, while Princeton posted 34 points for the win. Sophomore Brianna Faust (Macungie, Pa.) was Quinnipiac’s top runner, placing 20th overall in 18:55.

Women's Cross Country Places Second At Stony Brook Season Opener
The Quinnipiac women’s cross country team ran at the Stony Brook Season Opener on Saturday morning. Junior Becca White (Natick, Mass.) was the Bobcats’ top finisher, placing third overall in 14:19. Stony Brook won the meet with 18 points, while Quinnipiac placed second with 41 points and CW Post took third with 85 points.

Women's Cross Country Ranked First In 2011 NEC Pre-Season Coaches Poll
The Quinnipiac University women’s cross country team was unanimously picked to finish first in the 2011 Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches Poll as announced by the league office on Wednesday, Aug. 10. The Bobcats won their sixth consecutive NEC women’s cross country championship last season, led by the 2010 NEC Outstanding Performer, Becca White (Natick, Mass.), who won the championship meet with a record-breaking time of 17:17.
Martin And Dickerson Named NEC Women's Cross Country Coaching Staff Of The Year
Quinnipiac University head cross country and track and field coach Carolyn Martin and assistant coach Christopher Dickerson were named the Northeast Conference Women’s Cross Country Coaching Staff of the Year, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. This marks the second time in three seasons that Coach Martin has won the NEC award.
