Women's Cross Country Wraps Up Season at NCAA Northeast Regional Meet

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's cross country team placed 21st out of 35 teams on a snowy afternoon at the NCAA Northeast Regional meet hosted by the University of Buffalo.
Columbia took first overall with 41 team points just ahead of Dartmouth and Yale, who took second and third, respectively. Syracuse's Shannon Malone took first with a time of 21:28.7 in the women's 6k race. Quinnipiac took 21st with 597 total team points just ahead of Canisius and Binghamton.
Morgan Voight was the top finisher for the Bobcats with a time of 23:20.1 and finished in 74th place. Kaitlin Bakas had the next fastest time for Quinnipiac (23:45.3) and finished in 105th place. Maria Ricalton took 131st with a time of 24:07.7. 
Meghan Curtin finished in 137th place with a time of 24:13.8. Ellie Songer took 162nd with a time of 24:35.1, and Shaelyn Pacheco was right behind her in 163rd with a time of 24:35.3. Kate Gihorski placed 166th with a time of 24:39.4.
